Hello there, my friend is working for a private company in dubai. Due to financial crisis, company not renewed his visa for 7 months from the date it expired. Also, pay cut and many benefits were withdrawn by company. Meanwhile, my friend was applying for job and he got an offer recently. So he resigned.Unfortunately, his visa was renewed and stamped under limited contract of 2 years. But his company not allowing him to leave, saying that he will be banned for one year. If he wants he can continue his service with 20% salary reduction and he has to bear the visa cost and the penalty for his family visa delayed renewal,and he has to bear the medical insurance cost also. Already he is drawing low salary only. The new opportunity he got is paying slightly better than his current employer. Also, his current company is not paying salary on time. There are lot of internal issues due to financial crisis. what can he do now?

Thus, your friend can leave his job without compensating the employer.

The worker may leave work without warning in one of the following cases:
A - If the employer violates his obligations to the worker stipulated in the contract or the law.
B - If the employer or his representative legally assaults the worker.
