Article (51)
A) Subject to the provisions of Articles (53) and (54) of this Law, it is not permissible to actually employ a worker for more than forty-eight hours per week.
B) With the exception of the cases stipulated in this law, a Muslim worker may not be employed in the month of Ramadan for more than six hours per day, or thirty six hours per week.
C) It is permissible, by decision of the Minister, to reduce the maximum working hours for some categories of workers or some industries or businesses whose conditions or nature require this.
A) Subject to the provisions of Paragraph (b) of this Article, the working hours must be interrupted by one or more periods for prayer, eating and rest, of no less than half an hour in total, taking into account in determining that the worker does not work for more than six continuous hours, and rest periods are not counted within hours Actual work.
B) The Minister may specify, by a decision from him, the jobs and cases in which - for technical reasons or operating conditions - the continuation of work without a rest period, and to specify difficult or exhausting jobs in which the worker is given rest periods calculated within the actual working hours.
A) Subject to the provisions of Paragraph (a) of Article (51) of this Law, it is not permissible to actually employ a worker for more than eight hours per day unless agreed otherwise, provided that the worker's actual working hours do not exceed ten hours per day. .
B) The working hours and periods of rest must be organized so that the period from the beginning of the working hours to the end of their work does not exceed eleven hours per day, and the rest period shall be calculated from the hours of presence if the worker is during it at the workplace.
C) Exempt from the provisions of the previous paragraph shall be the workers who engage in work that is intermittent in nature, which are determined by a decision of the Minister, provided that the period of their stay does not exceed twelve hours per day
An employer may employ a worker for additional working hours if the work conditions so require.
The worker is granted a wage for every additional hour equivalent to the wage he is entitled to plus at least 25% for daytime work hours and 50% for nighttime work hours.
