Please note that to get married in the UAE you will need to follow these procedures:

  1. Both you and your partner and her guardian must attend, plus two witnesses (men) must be present
  2. You must complete a marriage form and the required documents attached
  3. You should take the form nd the attached documents to the customer service desk
  4. All the parties must attend before the marriage official, who will perform the contract
  5. You have to pay the required fee
  6. Finally, receive the marriage contract

 Documents required for an Emirati citizen:

  • identity card of parties (original and copy)
  • family book (original and copy)
  • witnesses’ identity cards
  • medical examination certificate for the parties (original and copy)

Documents required for foreigners:
 birth certificate (original)

  • passport
  • copy of a valid residence permit (original)
  • proof of marital status, eg married, divorced, single, approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicant’s country and the UAE Consulate in the foreign country, or approved in the UAE by the Consulate of the applicant and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairshealth certificate

 Please consider that to complete a marriage contract you'll need to get a medical examination certificate, and for this  you must attend to one of the accredited health centres in the UAE and provide the required documents,

then you have to perform the specified medical examinations,
  The required documents are:

  • valid passport or identity card of the citizen (original)
  • valid residence permit for a foreigner (original)
  • four coloured passport size photographs

In the event of the death of the father, he is replaced by the closest guardian, such as the older brother or uncle, and the judge is the guardian of the one who does not have it
