How to get reduced over stay fine

We would like to inform you that if your inquiry is related to the request to reduce the fine amount,  here is the following information:

 It is possible to submit a request to the General Directorate of Residence in order to request a reduction in the amount of the fine by fifty percent of its value in exchange for allowing travel and imposing a one-year ban, by preventing entry to the UAE. The General Directorate of Residence will examine the application and issue a decision to approve or reject it.
