Article 21

With regard to a foreign child, the period stipulated in this article is four months from the date of birth, and by its expiration without confirming his residency, his guardian or guardian is obligated to pay the prescribed fine, and the minister or whoever delegates him may decide to exempt from all or some of the fine prescribed in this article.
In the event that the prescribed fine is not paid, the offender shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months or a fine not exceeding four thousand dirhams, and the court may order his removal.
