Please be kindly informed that according to the data provided to us in your inquiry and with reference to the Federal Labor Law regulating the nature of the contractual relationship between the worker and the employer first, the law did not provide for any of the emergency leave, but it can be obtained with a maximum of three days by agreement with the employer, since the law clarifies the leaves on As follows
The employee enjoys an annual leave with a number of official holidays, which are work permits and workers with full pay on the following occasions:
The beginning of the Hijri year: one day
The beginning of the calendar year: one day
Eid Al-Fitr: two days
Eid Al-Adha: 3 days
The Prophet's birthday: one day
Isra and Mi'raj: one day
Al-Sahid Day: one day
National Day: Two days, and the employee is also entitled to a sick leave for a period of 90 consecutive or intermittent days for each year of his service, after a period of three months of continuous service that follows the trial work period, and the leave is calculated as follows according to the Labor Law, Sick Leave:
Calculation of the wage in full for the first 15 days
Half of the wages for the next (30) days
The period that follows that i.e. (45) days is without pay
The employee must inform the employer about his illness within a maximum period of two days, and the employer must take the necessary measures to present the employee for a medical examination to verify his illness.
Note: What is meant by sick leave in this context does not include work injuries, as work injury leave is subject to laws and provisions related to it.
