Hello. The question is regarding offer letter for future employee. We are a tech startup based in Ajman. Our company is incorporated in Ajman Free Zone. The candidate is currently on her father's sponsored UAE residency visa. The candidate is currently in India and will come to UAE in the next 3-4 months. We need to create an offer letter for this candidate. Can you please let us know 1. Do we need to get a work permit for her. If yes, what is the process? 2. Is it mandatory to provide medical insurance for Ajman based company? 3. Are there any other specifics for UAE employment. This is our first hire so we need all the information.

An employer wishing to recruit a foreign worker from outside the country under a work permit must perform several procedures, which are the procedures for a work permit in the UAE:
Apply for the quota system to the Ministry of Labor
Print the job offer that he will present to the worker, which includes a comprehensive description of the rights and duties of each party, through Tasheel Service Centers
Electronically sign the job offer, and send it to the worker in his country electronically or to the concerned employment agency, for the worker to review it, and to express his approval for it, either by signature or by fingerprint
The same procedures will apply if the worker is inside the UAE, so that he must sign the job offer, before the employer submits an application for the initial approval to benefit from this worker.
Issue a new work permit

Yes, insurance is compulsory and visa facilities are required. Without it, the visa is refused to be brought in. Thank you

The candidate is already on residence visa on her father's sponsorship. Will an NOC from the sponsor not work? Is it necessary for company to sponsor her visa ?? We will get the work permit and insurance. Thank you.
