Is there leave salary for engineers in UAE

We would like to inform you that workers in the Emirates are entitled to a basic wage plus housing allowance if any for the days of annual leave, and if work conditions require the worker to be employed during all or part of his annual leave and the leave period during which he worked is not carried over to the following year, the employer must pay him an additional wage To him a leave allowance for his working days equal to his basic wage.

 

This is according to the provisions of the Labor Law, 
Article (78)
The worker shall receive his basic wage plus the housing allowance, if any, for the days of the annual leave, and if the work conditions necessitate the employment of the worker during all or part of his annual leave and the period of leave during which he worked is not carried over to the following year, the employer shall pay him his wage in addition to a leave allowance for His working days equals his base wage.
