We would like to inform you that regarding the prison term in the UAE, it is:

A month is thirty days, as every person sentenced to a custodial penalty shall be released for a period of one month or more if he has spent three quarters of the sentence and his behavior during his presence in the facility calls for confidence in correcting himself, and his release was not a threat to public security.

If the penalty is life imprisonment, he shall be released if he has served at least twenty years.

A decision regarding this release shall be issued by the Minister of Interior, and the Attorney General shall be notified of a copy thereof

Federal Law No. (43) of 1992 regarding the regulation of penal facilities and the executive regulations stipulated that:

Article 44

Every person sentenced to a custodial penalty for a period of one month or more shall be released if he has spent three quarters of the sentence period and his behavior during his presence in the facility calls for confidence in correcting himself and does not threaten public security in his release.
