Good morning Mam/Sir, my name is Mark a Filipino Citizen and currently residing here in Dubai. I have a question regarding on how can i update thru telepone or online regarding on my application of reducing/waiving my overstay fine (Visit Visa). I already processed my papers at Abu Dhabi immigration last November 23 and until now they have no update. I have a new job now and already signed for the offer letter. The company is asking me when i can settle my fine so they can proceed on my employment. Thank you

We would like to inform you that the Emirati Authority has issued the following decision: Holders of entry permits, including visitor or tourist visas to the UAE, whose validity period expired after the first of March 2020, must have a 30-day period to leave the country, starting from July 11 to nov 17, without any fines being applied to them.

This period is renewable, only once for another month, after which the visitor must leave the country in the event that he is unable to change his status, and violators of the specified periods will be subject to fines for each day of delay in leaving the country.

We recommend that you check with the General Administration of Residence in order to know your visa status.
