We would like to inform you that if the employee's period of service exceeds the year, he is entitled to an annual leave of paid 30 days. Therefore, you shall apply for a leave from the employer, provided that the reasons for the leave are detailed in the application. After checking the application for non-approval, you shall go to the labor office and file a complaint against the employer. If the labor office finds serious reasons for obtaining the leave, it will give you the permission to obtain the leave. Note that the employer may not take any arbitrary action against you because you filed a complaint against him, otherwise he will be legally questioned.

Article (75)

A worker shall, for each year of service, be entitled to an annual leave of not less than:

1.      Two days a month, where the worker’s period of service is more than six months but less than one year.

2.      30 days a year, where the worker’s period of service is more than one year.

Where a worker's service is terminated, he shall be entitled to annual leave in respect of fractions of the last year.
