We would like to inform you that if you mean the employer, then you have to file a complaint in the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and clarify the reasons of the complaint and attach the documents that prove your complaint. The labor office will hear the employer, then they will decide and issue the verdict or refer it to the labor court.

I am sorry but i was very clear it was the landlord. After so many hours you give me an answer not pertaining to my question.I lost my job and my tenancy is another 6 monthsz but the landlord is not allowing me to break the contract. How can i approach this legally is my question.

So, if the circumstances in which you lost your job are related to the consequences of the Coronavirus
You have to submit a request to the Family Dispute Settlement Committee in the emirate you reside in and that you want to cancel the lease contract because you lost your job due to COVID-19, without the owner asking you for compensation, the dispute will be settled by ending your contract with the owner without asking for any compensation
