If you intend to obtain a driver’s license or renew it, the license is granted for a period of five years, which is renewable for residents. Traffic departments in most of the Emirates provide a driver’s license renewal service online. To renew your driver's license, you must pay all traffic fines. A fine of 10 dirhams per month will be imposed in case of delay in renewing a driver's license for a period of more than a month. And if you are referring to the fees and documents related to the driver's license, if a renewal is requested for it, and the required documents:
The original Emirates ID card.
Eye test.
Receipt for payment of all pending fines.
Of a citizen residing outside the United Arab Emirates
Emirates ID.
A copy of the passport with the valid visa page.
Eye test.
Receipt for payment of all pending fines.
Official authorization stamped from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.
*** No objection from the sponsor for the purposes of applying for the license
Service fee:
100 dirhams license renewal fee.
+20 AED innovation and knowledge fee.
The fine for delay in renewing a license is 10 dirhams per month, up to a maximum of 500 dirhams. This is in general, and if you have any other intention, you can clarify, thank you
