Sir can you help me out with this question Omar, a Ghanaian citizen, has been given indefinite leave to remain in the UK after entering illegally. This comes after a violent clash between the Police and protesters led by Omar in Ghana. Omar is well-known for his eccentric, often considered rebellious political philosophies. To him, Ghana as a country was better off under military rule. In October, 2019, he issued daring treasonous statements on a popular radio station. The statements provoked widespread indignation with many calling for his arrest and prosecution. The IGP on live broadcast said “hoodlums like him must be taught a lesson – our democracy must be fiercely guarded at every cost. Anything that threatens our democracy and national security must be terminated”. This reaction was late as Omar had already fled the country for fear of being subjected to not only a death sentence but also torture or cruel inhuman and degrading treatment as had usually been the case for persons like him. While in the UK, Omar took to social media to spread hate against the incumbent government and managed to win support from other Ghanaians living in the UK with whom he organized a movement against same. The Home Secretary of UK has expressed concerns that Omar’s actions threaten the safety and security of the citizens of UK. Earlier this year, the government of Ghana issued a request for Omar’s extradition on the basis of an Extradition Treaty between Ghana and UK. Meanwhile, UK’s Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Accra –a highly anticipated post-Brexit visit that will cement diplomatic relations between the two nations.Ghana and UK have ratified virtually all human rights treaties including the 1984 UN Convention against Torture.

Hello Mr Waleed / sirPlease help me solve this questions. Assume that the incumbent Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ghana has allegedly ordered Ghanaian military troops to commit acts which amount to possible genocide. As a result, Burkina Faso issues an arrest warrant against the Ghanaian Minister, based on the universality principle. The Ghanaian minister contests the legality of the issuance of the arrest warrant in relation to her. Firstly, she holds that she enjoys immunity from any kind of prosecution as long as she is in office, no matter the acts she carries out. Secondly, she is convinced that under no condition can she be prosecuted neither at present nor in the future.(a) Is the Ghanaian Foreign minister in this scenario correct concerning the validity of the issuance of the arrest warrant in relation to her? Explain your answer with reference to relevant authorities. (b) Is the Minister correct in her assumption that under no condition can she be prosecuted neither at present nor in the future?
