Article (55)

Wages shall be paid on one working day and in his place in the national currency in law.

Workers who are hired at an annual or monthly wage are paid at least once a month and all other workers are paid at least once every two weeks

Evidence of payment to workers of their due wages, irrespective of their amount or nature, shall not be admissible unless it is in the form of documentary proof, admission or oath..
