hello Can I apply for asylum in Germany?

In regard to your query, we would like to clarify that there are two ways to apply for asylum to Germany:

1-      Apply to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (YNHCR), and mention in the application all your information. This takes a long time to get reply it may reach 2 years.

2-      Apply for asylum once you enter German, you can apply it to the airport police or the German border officer. You have to mention all your information in details including your papers and birth certificate for you and your kids’ and the marriage certificate if it exists

If you enter Germany by transit, then you can’t apply for asylum unless you get out from the transit hall.

For your information, after applying for asylum you will be called for investigation session by the immigration department officer, after the interview you have to wait the decision.
