My labour contract is expired on 24 oct 2020. I...
My labour contract is expired on 24 oct 2020. I give non renewal letter on 23 September 2020. But company is not paying cash settlement to any employee. After visa cancellation at the departure date they give the cheque dated after six month and saying handover this cheque to anyone for cash . Is this proceeding is legal. And what can I do get my settlement. They also hold my two salaries for the month of September and 24days salary for October.

We would like to inform you that if you mean the employer, then you have to file a complaint in the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and clarify the reasons of the complaint and attach the documents that prove your complaint. The labor office will hear the employer, then they will decide and issue the verdict or refer it to the labor court.
