We would like to inform you that if the father rented an apartment since long ago and wants to transfer the rent to his divorced daughter, then in this case, the terms of the lease shall be referred to. If it permits the assignment of the lease contract, then the father may transfer the lease contract to his divorced daughter, but if the clauses of the lease contract prevent the tenant from giving up the lease contract, then it is not permissible for the father to assign the lease to his daughter.
This is according to the provisions of the civil law, which stipulates: -
Article 593:
The lessee has the right to assign the lease or the subletting of all or part of what he rented, unless the agreement provides otherwise.
