Please note that the tenancy contract stipulates that the notice period must be given to the other party for non-renewal of the current contract.

But in case it is not stipulated in the contract, the notice period by law is 90 days from the date of expiry of the contract.

So, if you want to vacate the appartement after the 90 days’ notice period, at the end of the notice time you can vacate the apartment normally and the land-lord will not claim any rent or money.
