I am Egyptian and a doctor working in abu dhabi since 36 yrs . my question is that my passport still valid for one year and my residence visa will expire after 3 months, can I apply for tourist visa?. the visa application, it will be through on line or in the embassy itself?thank you

yes. my wife is with me in abu dhai, but she well go to Egypt to see my other kids there and she will apply for tourist visa from Egypt to join me in turkey accompanying with my son living in Egypt

In accordance with the provisions of Paragraph B of Article Seven of the Foreigners and International Protection Law No. 6458, foreigners coming to Turkey must have an entry visa or an exemption from it or a passport valid for at least 60 days from the date of the expiry of the residence permit or any document that replaces a passport. You may be required to possess some conditions depending on your nationality. You can find out these conditions (if any) after choosing the nationality and date of entry to Turkey when you submit the application.
