The Qatari Labor Law does not allow the termination of a fixed-term employment contract before the end of its term. If you want to transfer sponsorship or leave work before the end of the term of the contract, then you must negotiate with the employer in order to obtain his written consent to terminate the employment contract so that you can transfer the sponsorship or leave work also, the unlawful termination of the employment contract may result in your being deprived of work in Qatar for a period of no less than four years.
