Good Morning, I am living in Sharjah and my tenancy expired on 5th Sep 2020, I was communicating with landlord office for some maintenance related issue solving before renewal. I have sent an email to them that I am ready to renewal and all documents are ready for renewal. Now they informed me that landlord filed case against room, I am ready to renew or vacate the flat with one month time and ready to pay all this two months rent also. could you please assist me what happen next if landlord file case for not renewing and I am contacting landlord office for my renewal intention and ready to submit all documents. please

We would like to inform you that if the tenancy contract is finished in UAE and you want to change in it, then yes you can do that as the tenancy contract is finished and the contract parties agreed on that change. So you can do that and ask to edit in the contract and add other conditions such as the name.
