i have not paid the sharjah municipality 4 percent...
i have not paid the sharjah municipality 4 percent charges on tenancy contract my contracts expired today and i asked my real estate to renew the contract i want know that contract will be renewed even if i have not paid the attestation charges i will pay once the contract renew now do i have to pay both charges this year and for last year? is there any fine ? please help me regarding this i did not told me real estate that i have not pais yet the charges of last contract please let me know about fine

We would like to inform you that when renewing the lease contract, you shall pay a fine for delay in renewing the lease contract for all previous years
Note that the decision of the Sharjah Executive Council stipulated the amendment of the fee schedule accompanying Resolution No. 14 of 2007 regarding the implementation of the provisions of Law No. 2 of 2007 regarding the regulation of the relationship between the lessor and the lessee in the Emirate of Sharjah, which includes amending the fees for attestation of commercial lease contracts to 5%, while the fees for attestation of the lease contract for investment purposes and its renewals have become 3% of the annual rent allowance, with a minimum of 1000 dirhams,
and collecting 4% of the annual rent value for attestation of residential lease contracts, in addition to amending the fee for the lease contract fee to become 100 dirhams.
