Please am in company and where am working a worker...
Please am in company and where am working a worker took a picture of me claiming am sleeping so I confronted him and he replied me with insult which got me angry and I hold his uniform and security told me to leave him so the case got to the HR and he I shouldn't have hold and pull him so I told him is out of ignorance so I wrote an apology letter to him bat hr decided not to give me my salary so please what has the law says about this

We would like to inform you that the employer shall not be entitled to refrain from paying the worker's salary, nor shall he issue an order to hold the worker's salary for any reason. As the UAE Labor Law allowed the employer to deduct a five-day wage from the worker's monthly salary only. You shall review your employer amicably for the last time in order to get your salary. If he insists on holding your salary and reject your request again, you may file a complaint at the Ministry of Human Resources against your employer.
Here are the texts of the UAE Labor Law relating to your inquiry:
Article 58
Evidence of payment to workers of their due wages, irrespective of their amount or nature, shall not be admissible unless it is in the form of documentary proof, admission or oath .. Any agreement to the contrary shall be null and void, albeit made prior to the date this Law comes into force.
Article 104
A fine may be expressed in terms of a specific amount or an amount equal to a worker’s wage for a specific period. The fine prescribed in respect of any single offense shall not exceed five days 'wage, and it shall not be lawful to deduct more than five days' wage in any one month in payment of fines imposed on a worker.
