I just have some concern about my current position and due to the covid 19 our hotel closed for 6 months and they've been terminated a lots of employee.. now my question is I was a housekeeping coordinator before and now our hotel open they put me again as a room attendant due to lack of manning

With the issuance of Ministerial Resolution 270, which was in the interest of the employer more than it is in the interest of the worker in terms of termination and wage reduction, according to the new Ministerial Resolution issued by Human Resources No. 270 for the year 2020, which was approved to maintain the interest of work which at the same time, according to the text of Article (2) of the decision, which gave the employer the right to the following:
1- Reducing wages
2- Granting the worker a paid vacation
3- Granting the worker leave without pay
So the medical condition that you are suffering from may intercede for you, and it is best to settle and explain the matter to the employer to take what is in your favor if approval has been obtained from him, as we advise you to refer to the decision and see it.
As for rights, you will have a reward according to the text of Article (132).
Article (132):
1. 21 days' wage for each of the first five years of service.
2. 30 days’ wage for each additional year of service provided always that the aggregate amount of severance pay should not exceed two year's wage.
Article (133):
A worker shall be entitled to severance pay for any fraction of a year he actually served, provided that he has completed one year of continuous service.

Unfortunately they told me that this is temporarily and we cannot do anything about it due to lack of staff. Because before they terminated lots of staff alomost 84 persons and the people who left the hotel are the one who suffered now.
