We would like to inform you that according to the Kuwaiti Cyber Crimes Law states that shall be punished by imprisonment whoever uses the information network or one of the means of information technology to threaten or blackmail a natural or legal person to induce him to do a thing or refrain him from doing it.

If the threat is a felony or a violation of the dignity of the person or a disgrace for honor, consideration or reputation, the penalty is the imprisonment for a period not exceeding five years and a fine not less than five thousand dinars and not exceeding 20000 KD or one of these penalties.
