We would like to inform you that the L1a visa is a visa granted in the United States to anyone who occupies an administrative or executive position in a company that has a branch or affiliated company or is native to America. This visa allows you to move between the countries in which the company’s branches are located.
The requirements for the L-1A visa are the same as those for the L-1 visa. It includes all of the following:
-You should be offered an opportunity to transfer or be promoted to a director or executive position
-You must be currently working for a company that has an office, branch, subsidiary or principal company in the United States
-You must have been working with the company for at least 1 year out of the previous 3 years
Before your L-1A visa interview, you will need to have various documents that prove the validity of your L-1A visa.
Some of the basic documents required include:
-A valid passport that expires more than 6 months after the date of your scheduled departure from the United States (the date on which the visa expires)
-A photo that adheres to the requirements for a U.S visa photo
-DS-160 confirmation page and barcode
-Answer that confirming the date of the visa interview
-Form I-129 and I-797 (for individual petitions)
-Form I-129S and Form I-797 (for group petitions)
-A letter from your employer confirming your transfer or promotion, including your job duties and salary, and proof that you work in a managerial or executive role
-Evidence that you have worked with the employer for at least 1 year in the past three years
-References and contact information from former coworkers, supervisors, and managers
-Pictures of your job places
-Copy of your CV
