We would like to inform you that the Federal Labor Law does not provide any article for a minimum wage, but there are general indications that wages must be met for the basic needs of employees.
According to Article 63 of the UAE Labor Law, a federal decree is determined on the proposal of the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and the approval of the Council of Ministers of minimum wage and high rate of remuneration in general or in respect of a particular region or profession.
Increasing the salary is depending on to what is stated in the work contract such as annual increase, so it will be one of his rights as long as the contract is valid. The work system keeps and protects any rights that the worker shall get upon the work contract.
