We would like to inform you that the marriage of foreigners in Egypt requires the following: -
First: The presence of the foreign wife in person during the procedures for the marriage contract or ratification is required if it is under a common-law marriage contract and that is in the Ministry of Justice building in Lazoghly district in central Cairo
Second: A certificate from the embassy of the country of the foreign spouse must be presented with no objection to marriage, and it must be certified by the foreign ministry in the country of the Arab foreigner stating (marital status - religion - age - nationality) and this certificate is certified by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry
Third: A valid passport. The passport has a residence permit from the Passports and Nationality Authority
Fourth: The Egyptian husband presents the national number card and the foreign spouse provides the passport
Fifth: a family stamp from the post office
Sixth: Presenting a medical examination certificate for the husband and wife, to be from a government hospital with the seal of the emblem of the Republic in Egypt
Seventh: 5 recent personal photos for each of the spouses
Eighth: The presence of two sane adult Egyptian witnesses over 21 years of age must be present
Ninth: In the event that the Egyptian husband is Christian, he must present a certificate of absence of impediments from the church and be approved by the Security Directorate
Tenth: If the foreign wife does not speak Arabic, then there must be a certified translator to end the procedures upon marriage
Note that there are other conditions that differ according to the nationality of the spouses.
