I finished my contract and visa to my employer.....

We would like to inform you that if your employment  contract and your visa have expired, then you shall either leave the UAE or renew the visa within thirty days from the date of the expiry of the visa. If you do not leave the UAE or not renew the visa, a fine will be imposed for overstay does not exceed one hundred dirhams for every day that exceeds the expiration date of residence visa.This is according to the provisions of the Immigration and Residence Law, which stipulates:

 

Any foreigner whose visa or residence permit has been revoked or whose residence has expired upon the expiry of the permit, entry visa or residence permit, he shall be fined no more than (100) one hundred dirhams for each day he resides illegally in the country from the expiry date.

For a foreign child, the period stipulated in this article shall be four months from the date of birth. With its expiry without confirming his residence, his guardian shall pay the prescribed fine. The Minister or his delegate may decide to exempt all or some of the fine prescribed in this article.

In case of failure to pay the prescribed fine, the violator shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months or a fine not exceeding four thousand dirhams. The court may order his deportation.
