We would like to inform you that Referring to the labor law governing the provisions of the nature of the contractual relationship between the worker and the employer and with the existence of the contract of employment, which is considered the law of the contractors as it determines the duties and obligations of each party towards the other
*** As for airline tickets, they are subject to the contract of employment if it is stated or not and Therefore, you should refer to the employment contract if it is stipulated in the employment contract so the employer is bound by it and the law stipulates in Article (131).
Article (131)
1. In the application of the provisions of the preceding article, the expenses of the return of the worker shall mean the value of his ticket, as well as what may be stipulated in the employment contract or the system of the establishment, of the worker's entitlement to his family's travel expenses and the expenses of shipping his luggage.
2. In cases where employers provide housing to the worker, the worker shall vacate the residence within a period not exceeding thirty days from the date of separation.
3. The worker may not delay in evacuating the housing thereafter for any reason, provided that the employer leads the worker to the following:
· Expenses set forth in item (1) of this Article
· End-of-service benefits and any other entitlements to be paid by the employer in accordance with the employment contract, the establishment's statute or the law
4. If the worker disputes the value of the expenses and entitlements referred to, the competent labor department shall determine these expenses and entitlements as a matter of urgency within one week from the date of their notification, provided that the worker shall notify them immediately upon their determination.
5. In this case, the period of thirty days referred to in item (2) of this Article shall come into force as of the date on which the employer has deposited the specified expenses and entitlements by the Department of Labor of the Treasury of the Ministry of Labor as secretariat. If the worker does not evacuate the housing after the expiration of the thirty days mentioned, the Labor Department, in cooperation with the competent authorities in the Emirate concerned, shall take the necessary administrative procedures for the eviction.
6. The provisions of this article shall not prejudice the right of the worker to dispute it before the competent court
