Hi. I am a receptionist in a dental clinic. I want to withdraw my position and leave the company. I didnt sign any contract yet except job offer with my thumb print and signature. I didt take medical and id also. What is the best thing i can do. Can i resign anytime? Do i have labour ban?

We would like to inform you that according to the Saudi Labor Law, you can file a case against the employer (sponsor) if there was arbitrariness of not granting you non-objection taking into consideration that there is no violation committed by you like the illegal termination of contract and unwillingness to complete its duration if it was limited as stipulated in:
Article (75)
If the contract is of an indefinite term, either party may terminate it for a valid reason to be specified in a written notice to be served to the other party at least sixty days prior to the termination date if the worker is paid monthly and not less than thirty days for others.
Article (76)
If the party terminating the contract does not observe the period provided for in Article (75) of this Law, such party shall be required to pay the other party compensation equal to the worker’s wage for the duration of the notice or the balance thereof.
Article (220)
Cases shall be filed through the competent labor office with the preliminary commissions in whose locality or under whose jurisdiction the place of work falls. Prior to referring the dispute to the Commission, the labor office shall take the necessary measures to settle the dispute amicably. The Minister shall issue a decision setting forth the relevant procedures and rules.
Article (221)
Cases arising from the provisions of this Law shall be reviewed promptly.
Procedures can be followed for submitting a complaint before the Labor Office and to follow the procedures with the knowledge of this party.

Yes, the answer was in accordance with the federal law, taking into account that if the contract was of a fixed term and had not been signed yet, but the job offer was signed, the absence of the contract does not mean that the contract could not be terminated, and you can follow the legal principles in termination as was explained in the previous answer
