Is it possible for you to find out the details about the case. we were cheated by one person who claimed himself to be CID and owner of the villa at MBZ Abu dhabi, even though after making him cheque payments and making the agreement we groups of 3 teachers realised that we got duped to the tune of AED 75 k when we started shifting our household materials to that villa the same day someone else claiming to be the real owner called mussafah police at the villa.

when we showed the agreements to the police they took all the details of the person who duped us and they I formed us that he already had 66 cases against him in different offences.

After taking his details and bank statements and CCTV footage from our school where he came to collect the cheque. They caught him in 3 days time and filed a case against him. on 22nd Feb but since then we were told the case is transferred to Abu dhabi Court. and till date we haven't got any information about the same even after taking several turns to Court and Judicial department unit at Mushrif mall and Marina mall.

We would like to inform you that according to the UAE Labor Law that provided a legal protection for wages as below article states:
Article (56):
 Workers who are hired at an annual or monthly wage are paid at least once a month and all other workers are paid at least once every two weeks.
Therefore, not paying wages on the specified dates by law is considered a legal offense with which a complaint shall be filed at the work and workers department attached to it the bank statement to show that the salary has not been received and then claim it through this authority. In the event that the complaint is proven, you may leave work according below:
 
 Article (121):
 The worker may leave work without warning in one of the following two cases:
A- If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
B- If the employer or his representative legally assaults the worker.
 
Moreover, the worker keeps all his rights and end-of-service indemnity, the worker may grant permission to change the work authority without the need for non objection from the sponsor, and it is also possible to submit an electronic complaint by entering this link: HR and complainant
