The reason I ask a question is I have a 2 boys aged 3 year 8 months and 1 year 9 months old,they are currently in India with their grandparents.myself and husband is here in UAE.august 12 th they will complete 6 months outside UAE.as per current situation in India,it's not safe for them to travel,also as a parents we cannot accompany them as I am pregnant.So my question is he how long I can keep in India, is there fine as if already crosed 180 days,or any grace period?

Sir. still my didn't get my answer.i understand after they arrive here they have one month time to renew their visa.my question is how much long time they can stay away from UAE after 180 days of residence visa.example one month or 3 months or till December.There should be a time limit that residence visa holder should reach UAE within so and so date if residence status crossed 180 days.If they crossed 180 days,Is there any fine or visa will be cancelled?

Otherwise, his residence visa will be invalidated, except for the following cases in which the expatriate can reside outside the UAE and they are:
There are some exceptions to this rule, which allows the resident expatriate to remain outside the UAE for more than six months, while maintaining the validity of his residence visa in the country:
• The foreign wife who is sponsored by her UAE husband
• A resident expatriate who works in a government agency, and his accompaniment, and he is sent abroad for treatment by the government administration. In this case, a medical certified report must be submitted by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection.
• Domestic labor who accompany who accompanying the members of diplomatic missions and consulates that representing the UAE abroad, and staff of these missions who hold a residence visa in the UAE
• Public sector employees who are sent by the Authority to attend training or specialized courses or those who working in the offices of employers abroad and their families who hold valid residency visas in the UAE
• A student who resides in the UAE and travels abroad to study at a university (according to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai).

So there is fine?.otherwise I have cancel the visa right?Whatever you are sending to me I already read it through different channels,I want to know what is the current criteria/ change in visa rules for residents,fines,fecilitres that government provide because of pandamic.
