Alcohol fine Abu Dhabi

We would like to inform you that Alcohol consumption, trade and manufacture is a criminal offense under article 313 (repeated) of the Federal Penal Code which stipulates that:

1. The prohibition of drinking alcohol does only apply on Muslims.

2. Without prejudice to the cases where it is admitted to Non-Muslims, whoever drinks alcohol beverages shall be sentenced to detention for a minimum period of one month but not exceeding six months and/or to a fine not exceeding two thousands dirhams.

3 - Subject to the conditions permitted, shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not less than two years and a fine of not less than fifty thousand dirhams or one of those penalties, anyone who has won or made, brought, made, imported, re - exported, promoted or promoted alcohol for the purpose of Trading.

The penalties provided for in this Article shall not prejudice the penalties prescribed for the violation of the permits or licenses and the conditions thereof
