Good evening Atty.
I would lije to know if we can run after the Employer who gorce is FIR LAID OFF, not oaying 3months as mandatory meeting and letting us pay our the accommodation after the said LAID OFF. Moreover the agreement that we signed to receive money monthly from our pending vacation and indeminity was not receive yet.
In addition as of to day, he wanted us to signed the agreement that our residency must be transfer after 5days....but how could it be,knowing that were we still dont have new Company to work with.

If your inquiry is about the employer violating the employment contract, in that case a labor complaint must be submitted to the Ministry Labor and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
They will investigate the complaint and transfer it to the labor court if it fails to be resolved
Kuwaiti Labor Law
Article (146)
Prior to filing a lawsuit, the worker or the beneficiaries through him shall submit an application to the competent Labor Department which shall summon the disputing parties or their representatives. In the event where the Department is unable to settle the dispute amicably, it shall, within a month after the submittal of the application, refer the case to the Court of First Instance for settlement. The referral shall be made by virtue of a memorandum that includes a summary of the dispute, the defenses of the parties and the remarks of the Department.
