Well, the menses come in dark blood and spotting for a period between 3 – 7 days. Just spotting for three days is not considered menses thus it is absent menses at your case. Investigations to do

You can do pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy. Prolactin level test and TSH for thyroid problems. US for uterus and ovaries

• Pregnancy
• Increased prolactin level
• Thyroid problems
