It is not possible for the worker to cancel his visa on his own, since the visa cancellation procedures shall be signed by the employer and carried out by himself or by his legal representative (the employer's delegate at the General Directorate of Residence).
You may check with your employer in order to cancel your visa.
If your employer refuses to initiate a visa cancellation procedure despite the expiry of your employment relationship, you may complain to:
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
- The General Directorate of Residence.
