Symotomes and management of oral Thruch 
Oral thruch is one of the fungal diseases that can infect the oral cavity of breast fed babies to causes whaitish areas inside the oral cavity and some degree of feeding disconfort for the baby, in some cases where the feeding bother is having cracked nipples it can cause spread of infection to the breast and causes lactational mastitis. its treated by using Nystatin oral drops in a dose of 10 drops 3 times a day and consult the treating pediatracian if symptomes perisisted.
Investiations 
Oral thrush is considered a simply diagnosed illness by physical exam from the lesion characteristics, but if recured and perisisted a clue of immune compromise of the baby immune system should be investigated by measuring WBC in the cbc test and measurement of serum immuneglobulines by serum electrophoresis test.
Causes 

• Candida infection 
• immune compromised 

Our advice 
You are adviced to keep breast feeding of the baby as a sole source of feeding for the baby, clean the mouth by a dray swap using your finger.
