what is the possible causes of those patchs ?
they may be benign as safe patchs may appear on newborn , and usually they go by them selfs , and dont cause symptoms such as : itching , swelling
- if there is symptoms , there may be causes to this patchs like :
1. fungal infection
2. dermatitis
what to do next if there is symptoms ?
1. consult a pediatric doctor
2. doctor will perform physical examination
what are the treatment option if needed :
1. topical cortisone in case of dermatitis
2. antifungal topical medications according to fungal infection type
