I have had deviated septum for like 12 years ..and...
I have had deviated septum for like 12 years ..and I always feel my right ear is not like my left as there is slight hearing difference, and when i do valsava maneuver my left ear pops easily but my right don’t and i need to do some tricks by my jaw so it can pop , and even when it does i feel it’s not the same as the left....im willing to do the surgery for my septum in the near future..will my right ear improve or it won’t change anything?
I’m 22 male , 170 cm , 67 kg... no history for taking long term medications , just take vitamin supplements

Deviated nasal septum can cause infection in the middle ear which cause your problem
it can be treated by using antibiotic like augmintin 625mg twice daily or azithromycin can be used and if there is pus collection in the middle ear then it can be withdrawn by the ENT doctor and the deviated nasal septum must be corrected
the ear should be assessed to exclude the presence of pus collection in the middle ear and audiometry can be done and the nose should be examined to exclude the presence of sinusitis
