Indications and uses of decynone (Etamsylate)

Etamsylate is a haemostatic agent that has been used as a stabilizing agent for paltelets and improvement of blood vessels diltation by counteracting the action of Prostaglandins which are a group of agents that are implicated in causing bleeding.Etamsylate has been used in a various indications and in cases of excessive menstural bleeding  but of note it will not stop the bleeding immediately, its taken 5 days before the antecipated day of menses for 10 days in a dose of 3 tablets per day after consultation of a gynecologist
Warnings 
Drug use is contraindicated in cases where hypersensitivety reported to its active ingrediants.
