Hello doctor, Recently my husband was diagnosed...
Hello doctor,
Recently my husband was diagnosed with urinary infection. He had Traces of bacteria in urine and pus cells were 10- 15 hpf. He's also running a low grade fever. And hence he was prescribed the tablet CEFIXME 400mg.
He has pain in joints around shoulder,knee and ankle. So he was given anti inflammatory tablet DICLOFENAC 35mg.
Also he has been taking herbal medicines (AYURVEDA)for joint pain since its a little severe.
He had earlier been diagnosed with fatty liver hence he is hesitant to take these anti inflammatory and antibiotics and prefers herbal medicines.
My question is whether he can take all the medicines together? Will they interact with one another and cause some side effects and further complications?

is there any medical interaction between those medications ?
no there isnt
- we are not aware of the name of the AYURVEDA medication , kindly tell us and we will check that too
- sperate the doses time between western medications and AYURVEDA medication , at least 4 hours
what are the possible side effects of those medications ?
- those medications are light medications , and wont generate severe side effects , and its mostly temporary , such as :
1. nausea
2. abdominal pain
3. dizziness
4. constipation or diarrhea
general advices to your husband case :
1. drink plenty of water
2. avoid any heavy oil meals
3. avoid smoking
