Hi good noon i want to ask about my employer bcz i almost done my contract this coming november and he doesnt want me to go find another job 4me they want if my contract finish they like me to go bck to my country but i like to stay here in dubai to find another job for me.i want to know what should i do pls.

We would like to inform you that upon expiry of the contract of employment or termination by the employer, the worker has two options: either to find a new sponsor and transfer his residence on him or to leave the UAE. Therefore, you are not obliged to leave the UAE after termination of your contract and the law gives you a grace period of 30 days to either find a job or leave the country.

And to submit a request for
the transfer of sponsorship and the transfer of sponsorship shall include the

The absence of a registered
citizen for a job application who can do the same work
Approval of the current and
new employer
The qualifications of the
worker and his experience shall match with the specifications of the new
profession

The employer has a certain
period of time and is calculated as follows:
One year for Masters and PhD
students
Two years for holders of a
bachelor's degree
Three years for those who do
not hold previous academic qualifications

hi good pm sir i want to ask about finishing of my contract this coming november i ask my boss that i like to stay here in uae once i finish my contract but she told me that she cannot cancel or release me.bcz here in uae have new policy.that if u finish ur contract u must go home to ur country bcz not allowed to stay and going anywhere.i want to know if this all true.bcz i like to stay and work here in uae.

Before the expiry of your contract, you shall file a complaint at the labor office and ask them to stay here and to transfer your sponsorship to a new sponsor, and the labor office will help you in this regard.

i already ask my employer permission that if my contract wil finish this coming november 17.i ask them they will cancel me.but they dont like i told them i want to use my grace period to stay here in dubai to find another job for me.they said they will book me ticket after 5days that my contract will done.what should i do sir??

The employer has the right to impose a ban against you if you terminate the contract illegally, but if the employer has violated the provisions of the labor law and the employment contract, then in this case you shall file a complaint against the employer at the labor office and then you may leave work according to the text of Article 121 of the Law on Regulating Labor Relations, which stipulates:
Article (121)
The worker may leave work without warning in one of the following cases:
- If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
- If the employer or his representative legally assaults the worker.

sir what should be follwed if when u started working with them or what put in my visa.for example i started work nov.17,2018 but in my visa will finish feb.20,2021.i still i need to finish this or i can ask them to cancel me as long i done this coming nov.17,2020.

I mentioned to you earlier that you may leave the work without notice according to article 121 only if the employer contravenes the employment contract or the Labour Code after filing a complaint at the Labour Office. This is the proper and legal procedure to leave work.
