It should be noted that after reviewing your inquiry and legal scrutiny we would like to inform you that the Holders of expired UAE visit visas should either leave the country by August 11, 2020 or can apply for a 1-month grace period,
They have 1 month (30-days) to leave as of July 12 to avoid fines,
But the ICA issued a new order, that they can renew the 30-day grace period one more time after August 11.
“As per the last amendments, it has been decided to grant entry permits and visit visa holders inside the country, a period of one month (30 days) to leave the country. The grace period is renewable one time by the authority, after which, the entry permit or visit visa holder needs to exit the country to avoid fines.”
The extension of the grace period would be done by the ICA.

Concerning the fact that you work in another place that the one you were granted for,
Article 11 of the Nationality and Residence Law stipulates, "If the visa is to work for any person or institution, its owner is not entitled to work for any other person or in any other institution except with his written consent and the Naturalization and Immigration Department to do so."
About the passport,
The practice of employers withholding the passports of its foreign employees is prohibited under Circular No. 267 of 2002 issued by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) - unless it is carried out by the judicial authorities in accordance with relevant provisions of the law.
In pursuance of the aforementioned circular and the provision of the Employment Law, it may be noted that you may demand the return of your passport from your employer.
If your employer refuses to return your passport, you may consider approaching the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
You may also file a complaint against your employer at a police station.
In the event that the intended question is otherwise, you can kindly ask us in detail and we will respond to it in the shortest time frame.
