Hi doc, I recently had a sore throat and took a medication already but I still feel like something is stuck in my throat and it is irritating. Almost a week ago I had a medication but I don't have any fever but slight cold. When m taking strepsils I feel OK but again I feel the same. Can u please tell me what should I do?

What is the treatment of Throat pain ?
You need to do few tests in the nearest medical center for complete clinical assessment and evaluation . Besides you have to follow the following :
- Bed rest .
- Drink enough amount of water every day .
- Eat well balanced and healthy diet that include essential nutrients .
- Take Antipyretic as Paracetamol for the fever .
- Treatment of any underlying condition as Bacterial infection : Azithromycin500 .
What are the causes of Throat pain ?
- Infection .
- Covid-19 virus .
- Common cold .
- Throat infection .
- Tonsilitis .
- Infected tooth .
- other causes .
What are the tests needed for Throat pain ?
- Clinical assessment for any signs and symptoms .
- Complete blood count .
- Chest X-ray .
- Other tests .

I have done the blood test but everything was normal. I don't have fever, cold or any other symptoms.
