It should be noted that after reviewing your inquiry and legal scrutiny we would like to inform you that all drivers in Qatar shall have a valid driver's license.
New visitors or tourists with an international driver's license can drive in Qatar for up to six months.
And valid licenses that issued by the GCC countries which are in the possession of any foreign resident in one of the GCC countries and provided to the country for a visit or tourism, holders of these licenses may drive for a period not exceeding three months
Citizens of some foreign countries may transfer the driving licenses issued by their country to Qatari driving licenses without conducting the driving test. The GCC license may be replaced by Qatari driving licenses to the GCC citizens, with the following requirements:
The Gulf license shall be valid and the original license shall be withdrawn when replaced by a Qatari license
