First: The procedures for canceling the visa

You should go to the General Administration for Residency and Foreigners' Affairs and submit the visa cancellation application. The following documents should be attached to the application:

  1. Cancellation application form signed by the sponsor
  2. If the sponsor is a company or establishment, the application must include the signature and stamp of the company, accompanied by the letter of clearance and termination of the procedures by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
  3. Original passport of the sponsored person
  4. The original identity card of the sponsored person
  5. In the event that the sponsored person is outside the country, the original passport must be brought, if it is not possible to request an extract from the residence visa from the computer.

Second: Taking the passport from the employer
 The UAE Ministry of the Interior has issued a decree confirming that the passport is a personal document that the owner must keep and show it to the official government authorities upon request. No party may hold the passport except by judicial order and in accordance with the law. The detention of the passport is punishable by a fine of up to 20 The employee can file a complaint against  the employer at the local labor office and even file a complaint with the police.

The cancellation form is obtained from the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners’ Affairs. As for the inability to contact the sponsor, you shall submit an application at the Labor Office to cancel and they will give you a letter stating that the sponsor has not been found, and then you shall take this letter to the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners’ Affairs, then your visa will be canceled without Sponsor's approval.

elow atty.gud afternoon.my visa issue in fujairah.i complain about my passport what can i do atty.?and i wont to check if he surinder my passport in fujairah immigration coz last week i chat my emfloyer in snapshot i till cancel my visa and surinder my passport in fujairah immigration now he didnt reply to me and now he block me.my emfloyer is police in fujairah.plz..hepl me atty.

me im her in dubai atty.1st i need only my passport coz i avail the amnesty coz im run away.i need to go home atty.in my country.what can i do.my emfloyer so very crezy.i know he knows the low coz he work the gov.and also police.but way he did not sorinder my passport to legal process.
