Sir good morning. Im RHD patient. Im taking phenoxymethylpenicillin 250 mg twice a day. But its not available in UAE. Instead of that can I take amoxycillin 500 mg once a day?

can you take amoxicillin instead of phenoxymethylpenicillin ?
if used for current infection , then yes you can take it , but if you are using medication for RHD , then consult your doctor about getting penicillin G injection , its the effective treatment in this case
