I'm writing this to know about UAE labour laws.
I work for the company Duslco base at Abu Dhabi. My company clearly states that there will be no salary (basic) given to employees who are not working during quarantine. I ask them at least if company can support us with food allowance but the answer remains same. So we were kept home quarantine for 3 months. I'm sure you can understand what I'm facing and what I'm trying to tell.. please help me with valid UAE labour laws info so I can lodge a complaint against them.

There are some sectors that have reduced the salaries of their employees because of Corona Virus , and these sectors have been pre-approved by the Ministry of Human Resources, so you must ensure that the sector you work for has taken approval to reduce wages, knowing that the reduction applies only to non-working employees as for employees who are still workers, a reduction does not apply to them, therefore if the sector did not obtain approval to reduce the wages, you can file a complaint with the Labor Office via the following link
